I’ll be there for you!

My buddy Bob is coming down to Bath to see me today and I’m looking forward to the company.  I’ve no idea what we’re going to do, mainly because I’m quite poor and there’s not very much one can really get up to in Bath!  Maybe I’ll be able to convince him to drag himself back to mine and help me complete Perfect Dark on the Perfect Agent difficulty setting…or we could just go for a chinese all-you-can buffet…

On a minor note, lately I’ve been reading Barack Obama’s “Dreams of My Father Come True” and I highly recommend it to anyone who a) loves/hates Obama and wants to find out more about him and b) enjoys autobiographical writing.  It’s a charming little book, full of touching anecdotes and written with great honesty.  I rate it above “The Audacity of Hope” because it focuses less on the politics and offers us a more personal view into Obama’s life.

Anyways, my “Films of the Nouvelle Vague” module at university is calling me…can’t wait to learn about post-modernity today!*  Have a good day mes amigos and until the next time!
